Oregon Cowboy Poet – Jessica Hedges

2012's Cowboy Poet Entertainer:

We are pleased in introduce Jessica Hedges, Cowboy Poet joining us at Vaquero Heritage Days this year. Jessica will delight the audience at Friday's Artisan Preview & "Concert Under the Stars" with an original poetry reading based on real life stories of "cow camp" living, ranching, riding, working cattle and training dogs - all from a woman's point of view. Her debut CD "History in the Barn" was named "Cowboy Poetry CD of the Year" in 2010 by the Academy of Western Artists, and was placed in 2010's Top 5 Cowboy Poetry CDs by the Western Music Association. Jessica's on-stage live performances have also received award nominations and recognition.

When Jessica isn't on the road performing, she lives and works with her husband Sam Hedges in a cow camp located in southeastern Oregon. They are expecting their first child in in May 2012. Jessica will remain with us Saturday & Sunday. A good opportunity to meet Jessica and obtain her poetry CD in her boothspace. Welcome her to California!
