Singer/Songwriter – Trinity Seely
2016's Saturday Night Concert:
Welcome! Award Winning singer/songwriter Trinity Seely will perform at Vaquero Heritage Days 2016 "On the Veranda" at Saturday evening's Rancho Dinner event. Trinity has a knack for writing lyrics...lyrics which reflect details of western ranching and the buckaroo/cowboy lifestyle from first-hand experience. Raised on her family's remote guest ranch in British Columbia where she and her sisters ran a "dude string" of horses, then on to California's Ojai Valley where she graduated from horse-oriented private Thacher School, her passion for horses and music never faltered. Thacher sparked her interest in CA vaquero tradition & lifestyle while encouraging her to also pursue music and songwriting. She had been writing songs & singing since age 13.
She attended college in scenic Utah on a music scholarship, and later met her future husband. They both share a love of horses, ranching and western life. Together they worked ranches in Utah, began a family and relocated to the high desert plains of Wyoming managing a 100,000 acre cattle ranch. As happens in ranching, moving is often inevitable every few years. Trinity, her husband and their four children had resided in Nebraska, managing and working the expansive Rex Ranch, and in May 2016 have now relocated to live and work on the historic Sieben Ranch in Cascade, Montana. Her personal look into the life of a ranch wife and mother gives her a deep perspective and appreciation of a lifestyle that some might refer to as a "bygone era". It is not.
Wife, mother and working ranch partner, Trinity makes time for singing and songwriting. Never lacking for inspiration, her music is sincere and authentic. She has released 3 albums since 2011, is a featured performer at many National Cowboy Gatherings and events throughout the West and has received awards from the Western Music Association and academy of Western Artists.
Trinity's music on CDs will be available at Vaquero Heritage Days.
